Camelina sativa is a herbaceous plant in the crucifer family and is indigenous to central Asia and northern Europe. The oil obtained by cold pressing the seeds of this plant is yellow in color and has a characteristic green fragrance. This oil is rich in fatty acids, omega 3, omega 6, and antioxidants. Given its soothing, calming and healing properties, camelina oil is particularly suited to treating dry, sensitive skin.
