Deodorized sunflower seed oil, obtained by pressing sunflower seeds. It is particularly rich in oleic acid (32%) and linoleic acid, as well as in lecithin and protein. It is an excellent emollient and nutrient. Research into emollients has shown how this oil is particularly suited to stimulating the endogenous synthesis of the lipids that are lacking in the protective acid mantle in that it is able to allow for deep restructuring of the mantle itself.
